Temporary Residents Arrival Under the Temporary Foreign Workers Program (TFWP), 2015-2023

The datasets provide admissions of temporary residents under the Temporary Foreign Workers Program (TFWP) by LIP Custom Geographies, Regions, Province/Territory between January 2015 – December 2023.

Please note that all values between 0 and 5 are shown as “–” in the data table by IRCC. This is done to prevent individuals from being identified when IRCC data is compiled and compared to other publicly available statistics. Since we are using CSV format, we couldn’t show the above symbol. We have suppressed the value as “0”. However, when two communities’ values are shown as “–” in the data table within a LIP custom geography, we estimate the two communities value as “5”. Increasing chances of compounding errors may occur as the numbers were rounded especially for those LIPs that covers increased number of CDs or CSDs under their custom geographies.
